It’s been a year.
A busy year at work, mostly. I’ve been working a lot of hours, but probably more significantly, work was tapping all my brain power. There has been a lot of complexity and short timelines, and even at night, I was dreaming about work.
And I didn’t hate it. 😀 I like to be busy and challenged at work, it’s where I spend most of my waking hours. And I have many delightful colleagues.
But things have shifted somewhat, and work no longer consumes all my mental energy. I spent the holidays fairly idle – and now I’m restless.
So I’d barely started two books – Lauren’s story, set in the Greenlee world, and a young adult book I’d been chatting with my daughter about. I am going to work on my writing habits as the first priority (starting with this blog, which serves as a warm-up spot for me) and then just see which one evolves faster.
Wish me luck, imaginary reader and spambots!
